Dates: April 25 and 26, 2026
Venue: Sala Nanoespacio del Museo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (MUNCYT)
Description: Class A tournament, valid for qualification for the Spanish Championship.
Komi: 6.5, games without handicap.
Game system: 5 rounds, MacMahon system, Japanese rules.
Time control: 60 minutes per player + 3 × 20 seconds byo-yomi
The first Hokusei tournament is open to all players, both Spanish and international, of any level.
Registration for the tournament will be subject to available space for the event (limited to 44 participants).

Payment will be made at the tournament itself, at the time of registration confirmation.

Pre-registration alone does not guarantee a place in the tournament unless it is accompanied by confirmation of registration and payment at the start of the first day of the tournament.

- 09:45 – 10:00: Pairings
- 10:00 – 13:00: Round 1
- 13:00 – 14:00: Lunch
- 14:00 – 17:00: Round 2
- 17:00: Round 3
Domingo:
- 09:30 – 12:00: Round 4
- 12:00 – 14:30: Round 5
- 14:30: Prize ceremony
Prizes:
- Tournament Winner: €200
- Second Place: €100
- Third Place: €50
Prizes are subject to a minimum participation of 20 players (if this number is not reached, they may be adjusted), and players must be present at the award ceremony to be eligible for them.
Image Rights
By attending the tournament, participants grant the Hokusei Go Club the right to use photographs taken during the event for potential public communication through media or the internet.
